Image of a dark-skinned, short-haired community member in a blue and dark gray jacket and black pants approaching the gate to Ground Score's storage enclosure, which is located in its warehouse in Portland, Oregon's Old Town. The metal gate to the enclosure is open, and a Ground Score coordinator is looking at the community member while helping them by pulling out a large plastic storage bin from the metal shelves. The coordinator is light-skinned and wearing a tan cap, black T-shirt over a red long-sleeved shirt, and dark gray pants.

The Ground Score Storage program, generously sponsored by the Homeless Services Department, offers a secure and convenient solution for community members to store belongings during the day. Open on weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, this program removes the burden of carrying possessions throughout the day, allowing participants the freedom to go about their business without worry.

The program provides a safe and secure environment, with a locked, collapsible gate and a dedicated coordinator present at all times. This affords them the ability to attend to life’s necessities and apply for vital services—apply for IDs, submit job applications, attend interviews, and see to medical needs.

Participants are allowed unlimited access to their belongings between opening and closing hours. New members simply need to sign a brief agreement and provide basic information for a secure login and logout process. Storage is limited to a maximum of 3 containers (as pictured) per participant. Larger items are permitted if space is available.

Additionally, to ensure a comfortable start to their day, coffee is available from 8:00 am to 9:30 am, and snacks and healthy drinks are complimentary and available throughout the day. Participants are welcome to leave their devices at the storage enclosure to charge.
